Natalia Shmer
Natalia was born and raised in Russia. During her teenage years, she immigrated to Israel, and in 2014, she moved with her family to Canada. Natalia earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics and Geography from Haifa University in Israel and a Software Development Diploma from Robertson College in Winnipeg. Prior to joining Fridman & Co. in November 2020, she gained experience as an Immigration consultant assistant and also has a background in the insurance and financial fields.
As a Senior Legal Assistant, Natalia is a client-focused professional committed to achieving positive outcomes in every case. She brings extensive experience across a wide range of immigration matters, including Sponsorship, Humanitarian and Compassionate applications, Criminal Rehabilitation, Provincial Nominee Programs, and Citizenship. These processes are often complex and demanding, requiring precision, persistence, and understanding of each client’s unique circumstances. Natalia also supports clients with temporary status applications such as work permits, study permits, and visitor visas. She is committed to guiding clients through each step of the process with clarity, compassion, and reliability.
