With the global pandemic still running it course Canada has been vigilant in slowly reopening its borders to foreign nationals. The following are a current list of updates for September:
- As of September 7, 2021, the Government of Canada will allow fully vaccinated foreign nationals to enter Canada for discretionary purposes (non-essential). The following are the requirements the foreign nationals must meet:
- Must meet the fully vaccinated requirements of Canada follow the link to see if you qualify.
 - Be vaccinated at least 14 days prior to entering Canada.
 - Have a pre-arrival COVID-19 molecular test result taken no more than 72 hours before their scheduled flight or their arrival at the land border crossing.
 - Be asymptomatic.
 - Submit their mandatory information via ArriveCan, including proof of vaccination and a quarantine plan.
 - Be admissible under Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
 - Take a test on arrival.
 
 - US extends land border closure with Canada and Mexico until October 21, 2021. Afterward the US government will revisit whether or not they should open.
 - Flights from India to Canada have been suspended until September 26, 2021. They should re-open on September 27, 2021.
 - Flights from Morocco to Canada have been suspended until September 29, 2021.
